From Sirindhorn botanical Garden bike along the common route to Suan Luang Ror Kao. The next destination being Wat Khao Pridi, the bikers must turn back a little to turn into Thanon Pracha Uthit.

This temple is located by the foot of a limestone mountain, the face of which is a large steep cliff imposing over monks' abodes, pavilion and clean terrain. The attraction here is the outlook on the mountaintop, which requires a 15 minute climb on stairs to reach. This outlook provides panoramic view of Thung Song, the town in the valley, with its railway junction and numerous buildings. In comparison to the viewpoint at Talod Cave, that of Wat Khao Pridi offers more panoramic scenery without impeding trees. The best time to visit this viewpoint is in the morning. Afterwards, bike to the next destination at Wat Samrong on the left-hand side of Samrong Road. There is no clear evidence when this ancient temple was constructed, yet it was reportedly as old as Phra That Nakhon Si Thammarat. One group learnt that the construction of Phra That had been completed when they reached Thung Song. They thus tumed their precious belongings into the reclining Buddha statue and those of other postures, and enshrined them at Khao Samrong. A temple was erected here later. Similar stories were told with regards to numerous temples in Nahon Si Thammarat, reflecting the strong faith the Southernners have had towards this sacred temple.

Several caves wait to be explored in Khao Somrong, including Chang, Sue and Ruesi Caves, Mountain bikers can respect to the Buddha, visit caves and refresh themselves after biking for more than 10 kilometers.

From Wat Samrong, follow the asphalt, good conditioned Thanon Samrong. About 1.4 kilometers from the junction to Ban Khlong Nga and Ban Wang Hip, is the final destination of Wang Chor Nang Dike, which obstructs the river flowing from Nan Plue Waterfall, Swimming in the dike is permitted, but not recommended when the tide is strong.

This route, from Sirindhorn Botanical Garden to Ban Wang Hip intersection, share the the same route as Route 5. With good planning, bikers can combine these 2 routes on one-day trip. In this combined trip, leave Sirindhorn Botanical Garden early in the morning, no later than 8 c'clock, to reach Wang Chor Nang Dike no later than 11.00 o'clock. After lunch at the dike, bike back to turn to off-road route leading to Nan Plue Waterfall. Another alternative is to rent a van in Thung Song to transport both the bikers and their bikes to Ban Wang Hip intersection. Then bike to the dike and to Nan Plue Waterfall respectively.
